What do you need a chain guard ring for?

A chain guard can perform several tasks on the e-bike. For example, it ensures optimum protection of the chain and the drive sprocket off-road. On trekking or urban e-bikes, it protects the rider's pant leg from getting caught in the sprocket. Visually, your electric bike is also upgraded with the Miranda e-bike lock ring incl. chain guard, which is available in various colors.

You can easily change the Miranda e-bike chain guard yourself with the lock ring tool for Active & Performance Line drives. It replaces the original Bosch e-bike lock ring of the drive sprocket and offers more protection and an improved look compared to this.

Important notes

Optimal function of the chain guard is only guaranteed for drive sprockets with a number of teeth not exceeding 20. To attach the chain guard you need the lock ring tool for Active & Performance Line drives.
