The Matrix crank puller is part of the basic equipment of every bicycle workshop. Use it to professionally remove 4-sided, ISIS, mini-ISIS and Octalink cranks from your e-bike or bicycle. The black threaded insert is screwed into your bicycle crank. By carefully screwing in the silver pin, your crank is slowly loosened from the bottom bracket. You will need a 15mm open-ended spanner for this. Particularly practical about the Matrix bicycle crank remover: with the integrated 14mm socket you can loosen the crank bolts directly if necessary.

Depending on the crank you want to remove, the enclosed adapter pin has to be put on. The removal of 4-sided and mini ISIS cranks works without an adapter. For ISIS and Octalink cranksets you need the adapter pin. The support of the silver pin on the crank mount of the bottom bracket is approx. 16mm wide. This means that the extractor is only suitable for use on bottom brackets with a female crank bolt thread up to M12. For larger crank bolts, we recommend the XLC crank puller TO-S02. Larger bolts with M15 thread are installed on Bosch Active, Performance, CX from 2014 - 2019, among others.
