The Bosch eBike display Purion Active Line is a minimalist display that serves as a remote control unit for the eBiker. It is small, lightweight and easy to use.

What is the Bosch Purion display suitable for?

With nearly identical functionality to the large, centrally mounted Bosch Intuvia display, manufacturer Bosch is targeting sporty eBikers who are looking for a minimalist display solution on their Bosch electric bike from the 2014 model year.

The Purion on-board computer can be easily mounted next to the handlebar grip and is suitable for all Bosch Active-Line drives.

Between Purion, Nyon or Intuvia display can be selected as desired the appropriate solution. The Purion eBike display is mounted on the left side of the handlebar, where there is no shift lever on most Bosch eBikes.

Unlike the Intuvia display positioned in the center of the handlebar, the Bosch Purion offers a 2-in-1 solution. This means that the display and the controls are combined in one device. Thus, a comfortable and easily accessible operation of the eBike is enabled.

Thanks to the large buttons, the Bosch system can also be operated with gloves. Despite the minimalist operating system, the Purion eBike display offers all the important functions, which also represents the Bosch Intuvia display.

• The double assignment of the plus and minus buttons calls up the most important data, such as total distance, range and daily distance. By long pressing the minus button, the individual speedometer modes are switched through.
• A medium or long press of the Plus key switches the light function on or off.
• Shortly pressing the Plus or Minus key switches the assistance levels (Off, Eco, Tour, Sport, Turbo).
• The standard display informs about the current speed, the battery charge level and the support level. When the next service check at the dealer is due can also be programmed by the dealer and shown by the Purion display.

Who is the Bosch Purion Active Line eBike display suitable for?

The Bosch Purion Active Line display is particularly suitable for eBikers who want to do without functions such as navigation, fitness tracking or a centrally located control unit, and prefer a tidy bike handlebar with a purist and ergonomic design and functionality. Maximum riding pleasure, focus on the essentials and very high stability of the components should be in the foreground.

The 2017 Bosch Purion display for Active Line drive systems is also available as a display variant for Bosch Performance Line drives.
