More contemporary safety

During the development of the GRANIT Super Extreme 2500, special attention was paid to the highest possible resistance to attacks with electric cutters, as this type of bike lock picking is becoming more and more common in big cities. A special hard metal material mix around the shackle and lock body is the response to this phenomenon and makes it particularly difficult for thieves. The ABUS XPlus™ cylinder offers a high level of protection against manipulation such as picking.

Non-intrusive while driving, secure when stationary.

The USH 2500 mount for the lock can be flexibly attached to the bike using plastic-coated metal tension straps and optional screw holes. Helpful for mounting: the bracket can be swivelled by loosening two screws. To prevent the lock from rattling in the holder while riding, it is fixed in the USH 2500 with both ends of the bracket.

Hint: With the OneKey option you can have keys made that fit not only the Granit Super Extreme 2500 but also your existing lock. If you have an XPlus battery lock installed, you can simply order this lock as a keyed alike variant. Custom production is only possible for ABUS Plus cylinder keys. For these keys, the key number always starts with a number. When ordering individual locks with your key number, the delivery time will be extended by approx. 2 weeks.
